GET YOUR LIFE JACKET, AS THIS IS ABOUT TO GET DEEP!

As many of my DIYs involve around flowers, this one too, screams of optimism, energy, boosting vitality and celebrate feminine spontaneous vibe.

Design Hacks $$$$$ Ching-Ching From $

Many of my projects are also motivated by making quality garments and unique designs more affordable. There was, for example, a Givenchy coat, one of considerable beauty, decorated with colourful flowers. It sold for $40,000.

It was a breathtaking item, one that had immense detail and certainly required a huge amount of hours to create. However, it, and similar items, remained and continues to remain, entirely out of reach for most shoppers. Creativity was calling upon me to find a more budget friendly way around!

So, I created my own, hand-sewing individual faux silk flowers to a coat to imitate the design. While it required quite a few of my own creative hours, the outcome was fantastic.

Free yourself from the constraints of mass uniformity

Free yourself from fast fashion dictators.

Marketing campaigns tricking us buying mass produced items, to be like the others! Commodities that produced in million times over and over rather than making us embracing who we are and to find the beauty in how different we all are :)

We will always need clothes, we would always want clothes - clothing is an easy and perfect tool to express, comfort and adopt our own style!

In this customised garment you can embrace many positive feature. It is unique, unusual, and a walking blooming art. It is incredibly eye-cathcing and oozes positivity with exotic florals, it is hella fun fashion DIY, it will take you a bit time to create it but certainly will enjoy every seconds of it, it has quirky 3D effects, embellishments and it is so comfortable.

Perfect DIY when you tirelessly looking for new impulses and when mundane routine start overpowering you .. or if you are a minimalist 99% of the year and you need that showstopper piece as a surprise to show another faces of yours to the world.

Whatever it is, celebrate uniqueness, colours and personality over mass trends and uniformity - express individuality and a sense of style.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE YOUR OWN ORCHID FLOWER APLIQUE ELEGANT COAT

Type of flowers I was adding to the coat: Hydrangea flower heads, different kinds of Orchids, Peony rose. Get as many artificial flower heads as you need, try to get a higher quality one for a better results - materials: faux silk, polyester, latex flower heads…whatever I managed to get my hands on in the desired colours :)

Colours scheme of the Flowers: White, Pastel Light Pink, Pastel Light Lilac, Pastel Green, Violet, Dark lilac, Pink, Dark Pink and maybe many in between…Sizes anywhere between 2,5 cm to 12 cm.

Thread a needle and start sewing them up and compose it in a delicate way to create a smoothly changing wave of colours for a luxurious touch.
