With having a multi colored gift wrap wall decor we can experience magical moments and giggle when glimpsing at them. They make us remember the presents neatly lined up under Xmas trees and shapeshifting us into being an excited child just before Xmas Eve! Psychologically there is something in our brain when we receive or see pretty looking wrapped gifts, or just gift generally.

Mostly it doesn’t bother us if the gift is not a hit if it comes is a beautifully wrapped and presented format, an eye catching gift wrap is already giving us the feeling of connection and bonding. Obviously beyond the endorphin rise and the happy hormones in our brain we can be lifted up by the lively, vivid colors of the spectrum as well as they pop out of the wall bringing the gifts wrapping and the space more alive!

Gather all your craft paper or any leftover gift wrapping papers and ribbons from previous years you stashed away in your home for some Pop of colors and use different shapes of photo frames to wrap them and hang them on the wall for a colorful Xmas display or for Birthday parties.

Scrapbooking and crafting with papers are one of my favs for years, you can work with countless types of papers and make the abundant variety of crafts. I used a mix of crepe paper and variation of printed ribbons and metallic gift wrapping papers for a metallic effect, but you can add any colored paper as a background or your own hand painted customised backdrop sheet.

Hope this gift wrapping idea home decor mix DIY will be a great inspiration for many. Of course this can be made in many different variation and be customised to your own style, for example it can look amazing in a monochrome design using only two tones, or perhaps adding printed wrapping papers to the mix with zig zag design or flower print kraft papers.
