REBITH AFTER QUARANTINE: HAPPY FASHION

There are more love - inspired, heart - shaped items available to us because people are turning fashion into something more joyful, into a fun escape from the news.

We need this! After spending last year in sweatpants, consumed by the constant uncertainty we seem to be more drawn towards happier pieces. I say, yes, be the smiling glue of the crowd and fight against bleakness and negativity of current times.

During lockdown some of us realised how much can be “consumed” and accumulated over time after time, whilst we spent more time at home made us re-embraced old favourites, trying to come up ways how clothes we already own can be worn in different ways. Refashioning, reworking and sewing became popular again, which are little steps toward consuming less and find happiness without the rush of getting our hands on something”new”.

Additionally, during quarantine fashion became more personal as we don’t dress for others anymore, we realised we can have fun with it don’t have to be always so serious. The importance of colours and how they affect our well-being also received more focus. Based on psychological studies patterns and vivid shades create a certain mindset, which let us to be our own cheerleaders during long isolated days.

Spread the love in a fun way and bring some positive vibe into the room with hearts designs. They will not only affect you, but will put other’s in a good mood, too! And anyway, is it possible to ever get tired of heart designs ? If you are on to discover more heart related diy then check out the Do, Think, Be Positive top posts, which you can create by applying the same technique and just play with the design.

ONE TIP FOR “CIRCULAR ECONOMY"

This is why these diys are so fun and also feel-good. You can add another eco friendly item to your closet, by making and creating something out of unwanted clothes, fabrics. With updating them with some spice, you can breath some life into your old ones, which is the easiest way to remain sustainable and combat buying more, follow the easy steps and take some ideas for similar heart shaped infused spice it up projects!
