Colorise your world with MAGENTA

Magenta

Color Magenta is a rather interesting one. What an extraordinary, rich, distinctive shade on the spectrum, never to be underestimated. Magenta brings out many features and affects our mind in a myriad ways. It possesses a fuzziness between spontaneity and balanced harmony that exist in the intersection of two powerful shades on the color wheel, that makes magenta undeniably a melting point of two polar opposites of energy.

Firstly, passionate red represents courage, braveness, power and high energetic voltage, meanwhile gentle violet inviting calmly and cooling. The mix of these two creates an emotional balance, signifies kindness and cheerfulness with a hint of compassion and cooperation that welcomes all with a big hug.

It acts like a change agent as magenta revolts transformation and vibrantly inspires. It is free spirited in nature just like a maverick against the wind-slashed wilderness, just like anyone who chooses to embrace this color. All at the same time this tone influences personal growth, spiritual development and urges us to reanalyse our beliefs, and reinterpret our old way of thinking.

It energises with its pinkish red hues, and since red universally means abundance, spunkiness and fun therefore magenta is romanticised and primarily considered as a feminine color, but there is so much more to the story.

When we are surrounded with Magenta we can feel in tune with the Universe, finding peace within emotionally and mentally. It can also help in ways removing negative thinking and find beauty in without creating any overthinking and assisting in one’s confidence in approaching life. Embracing this color and adding splashes of Magenta into our home in a form of smaller arts, home decor and spicing up any wardrobe is recommended if someone is on a path searching for a more fulfilling life. In that way the gift of colors can be used and allow them to work for us as support systems and as an inspirational source.

For the love of colours!

Colours are one of the most evocative elements of fashion. They are often the first detail people will notice about an outfit, they can communicate a personality, and even have the ability to change the impression and emotion of those around you. Colours were even shown to affect heart and respiration rates. Such studies of colour, known as colour psychology, have long been both established and applied to fashion, leading to many designs and trends occurring in popular culture.

Within my own work, colours are especially important and are a source of constant inspiration. They can summon images of nature and powerful emotions, which is something I try to focus on when creating and designing clothing. This is why I thought it would be interesting to share my experiences with colours, both as individual topics and as a whole, how they affect my creativity and how I experience them.
