I think it’s so much needed in today’s society to lift up our spirit after being locked down for so long to bring a little cheerful, happy vibe back to our lives! As you could have guessed heart inspired diys would not stop after making its first appearance on this website! Many heart inspired tutorials is coming soon in the shape of accessories, motifs, 3D effects, which could easily inspire your eyes and can spark ideas to spice up anything you are bored with for a re-fashioning project in a few and simple ways!
NEVER THROW AWAY YOUR FABRIC SCRAPS
Let’s recycle them! Do you have fabrics left over from other crafts? You can make good use of those small pieces by recycling using materials and fabrics.
These metallic faux leatherette pieces were lingering around for years in my craft room and I just got around to make something out of them, started making padded hearts not really having an idea what would come out of it at start, where they are going to be placed, but thats I guess part of the fun in the process! Then I glimpsed at them as they were placed next to each other and immediately seen this could come up as a fashion piece with an arty feel to it and encourages positivity.
WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE PADDED HEART EMBELLISHMENTS
fabric scraps, remnants, leftovers or anything you don’t use and happy to make them into little hearts
scissors
sewing machine
for the filling fabric remnants, leftover small scraps are also perfect
brooch base needles
