This home made sequins dominated sewing DIY was inspired by Ibukun Baldwin colorful faces I have spotted on Pinterest. Uniquely designed hand drawn like fabric prints and 3D textile effect got me the idea to work with all my sequins I bought years ago. Love sequins but they can be time consuming to craft with. a piece of textile-large enough to cut out your designed hair style, TIPS: can be a piece of fabric felt it is great as it doesn’t fray, look around amongst your fabric waste for fabric scraps a leftover materials
multi colors sequins 3 cm big ones
scissors
thread and needle
small fabric scraps for the lashes and the lip print to cut out
GUIDANCE TO START OFF YOUR SEW ON GIRL FACE HAIR STYLE SEQUIN DESIGNED SEWING DIY
Before all, decide your desired measurements and the size of the cushion you are planning to make and in comparison cut out the front profile of a bob style hair cut. I completely free styled it and used no pattern. Imagine as it naturally flows and covering up half the face - for direction take a look at the pictures below.
